WARNING: the fullview is very, very large! I'm sorry to broadband users ahead of time, but I felt like to scale it down took away from the details I tool a very long time to put in.

I have not spent this long on lineart in a very very long time. The lineart was about eighteen hours, and the coloring about ten. This drawing has been under way for two weeks now, and it is very very big-11 by 17. The digital version simply does not do it justice.

Someone asked me a while ago about Joska's entire family, so this is Joska's entire family. Well, actually, this is only his brothers and sisters and a few nieces and nephews. Nobody probably cares, but, from left to right

<sub>Tzurna is 30 and the oldest of the brothers, but the second oldest child. He is the current head of household after their father died, and does not let the others forget it.

Jana is 31 and the eldest of all the siblings. She is very patient and the gentlest of all the sisters, and she is married with six children of her own. Clinging to her skirt is Bela her six year old daughter, who is very very shy.

Manilal is 15 and the next to get married. She is very flirtatious and her mother worries about her when it comes to boys. She is a dreadful tattletale.

Mariska is 28 and married to Patzare, who is not in this picture. She is extremely bossy and is the second sister. She especially dislikes Joska because he used to tease her about her stumpy ankles and tell her no man would marry a girl with muttons for calves. She is holding Patil, her four year old son. He is very mischevious and always up to something, and when he is older, they are sure he will be a handful.

Costal is 26. He is the strong silent type and very tall. He enjoys music and plays the mandolin very very well. That is really all. He is married.

Vadu is 10 and quite a handful. She is the youngest of the ten siblings and often takes care of Mariska's little children, but loves playing chase games and wrestling with the boys. Soon she will have to grow up, as her mother is starting to look for a husband for her. Next to her is Zati, Mariska's six year old son. He carries his stuffed rabbit that Costal made for him which he calls "Peppit." He considers Vadu his best friend.

Luka is actually not a sibling. He is Joska's brother in law, and Tsuritsa's husband. He is 19, and tries very hard to be the peacekeeper of the family when they all start to quarrel, usually Joska's fault. It is an overwhelming job, and though he and Tsuritsa get on well, he is somewhat restless in his married life.

Tsuritsa is 18 and married to Luka. She is very no-nonsense but she has a sense of humor, and is somewhat bossy. She definitely 'wears the pants' in her and Luka's relationship. Tsuritsa and Joska were close growing up.

Joska is the youngest of the brothers in the family at 24 and is the black sheep of the family. He ran away from home at fourteen because he did not want to marry his 'horrid' cousin. (Interfamilial marriage is normal in their society.) Even since he was a child, Joska was the troublemaker of the family, always playing pranks or coming up with outrageous plans. He is holding Luka and Tsuritsa's newborn child, who he loves dearly. He adores her and will not mind babysitting for her.

Nadya is 17 and just married. She is the practical sister, and is very good at embroidering. She loves children and is very gentle, which is why she often takes care of the children running around underfoot. She is holding Mirella, Costal's beloved eight-year-old daughter, who is a sweet girl, though very wary of strangers. Nadya is her favorite aunt.

On the very end is Vadisla, who is 27 and married. Vadisla is fun-loving and outgoing, and he is willing to give nearly anyone the shirt off his back to help them. Of all the siblings, he found young Joska's pranks the funniest and often provided the toads and buckets of water for them to be carried out, though his mother does not know this.</sub>

This drawing is one of my favorites, simply because of how much I put into it. I usually don't spend eighteen hours plus on lineart, but I think it may have been worth it.
