This is Camilla, one of the few lucky girls to really win Joska's heart. She runs a tavern with her brother somewhere out in the sticks north of Antern. He is always sweet to girls, especially curvy ones. (And it's even better if they run an inn and if he's sweet enough he can get a room for free. )
Absolutely stunning. Lovely hair, lovely curves (go, curves!), nice ink work. How can you make a smooth color transition with markers is beyond me. Then again, I've never worked with them, he-he. Anyway, great piece.
Haha! Yes, she is a curvy girl, Joska has a weakness for brunettes with tushes.
I think the smoothness has got to be the paper I use. I have a Moleskine sketchbook, which is a hand-bound sketchbook that has paper suitable for heavy wet mediums like tempera. It is a smooth, slightly ivory toned (the eggshell color in this drawing is the natural tone of the paper) paper about the consistency of cardstock, that holds the marker really really well and lets you layer it. There are probably anywhere from twenty five to thirty layers of color!!!
Haha. Well, Joska fell for her pretty hard. He acted very flirtatious to her, of course at first she was very disdainful of his attentions (who likes being hit on by a dirty but charming ruffian, after all?) The third string of his violin he named after her (the others are named after other girls, though not all lovers).
